Oh my gosh! When I say chocolate brownies in just 2 minutes. But, yes, I am serious. And bingo! When I add that, I am not going to use any eggs in it. I don’t believe it if someone says he doesn’t like brownies. Brownies are everyone’s favourites. I like it too much when it has my favourite chocolates too. When you can make it in just 2 minutes in the microwave before your guests, you rock the world. I will not use any expensive equipment, neither mug nor any mould. It is made with Just ingredients that are readily available at any home. So remember, whenever you want to have brownies without any extra efforts, recall me and this blog and Puff, your problem solved.

Ingredients Required

Brown Sugar — Sugar in any form is unhealthy, but I always use Brown sugar (Demerara Sugar). You may also use granulated sugar or refined sugar.

Plain Flour /Maida

Cocoa Powder — I love this ingredient and the adoring taste this gives to any recipe.

Baking Powder

Salt — just a pinch, not much

Milk — This is required to make your brownies soft and not chewy.

Oil

Chocolate chunks — Any kind of chocolate like white, dark, or milk. However, I used milk chocolate chunks.

How to Make Quick Chocolaty Microwave Brownies?

Firstly, you need a mixing bowl. Add all the dry ingredients such as sugar, plain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix everything well.

Add first milk, mix, then add oil and again mix.

Now, take a microwave-safe rectangular dish, grease it with oil or use parchment paper and pour half of the batter into it.

After adding the half batter, spread chocolate chunks above it and then cover it with the remaining batter. Put the dish into the microwave and cook at high temperature for 2 minutes.

Remember that some microwave models are more powerful than others; therefore, if your brownies are uncooked even after 2 minutes. Put it for another 30 seconds and so on till it thoroughly cooks.

Let it rest for 5 minutes before cutting brownies.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I make this recipe vegan?

This recipe doesn’t contain eggs, so it’s easily can be converted into a vegan diet. Instead of using milk, you can use almond milk which is the best flavourless substitute.

Can I make this recipe gluten-free?

Yes, you can use gluten-free flour instead of plain flour.

What to do if I want to make my brownies cakey and not fudgy?

When you add eggs, baking powder, and baking soda (both), you help your brownies lose moisture. Therefore, it’ll be cakier. But I never tried the cakey brownies recipe in the microwave. So if you like to experiment, you can try the cakey version too.

How to know if my brownies are cooked?

If brownies crumbs are glossy, it is undercooked, and if it is hard and dark in colour, that means it’s thoroughly cooked.

What if I don’t have chocolate chunks?

You can also use chocolate chips or diced cooking chocolate. I used cooking milk chocolate for this recipe.
